Anyone been to Cordoba, Spain lately?
I am trying to see if there are luggage lockers available at the Cordoba AVE station. I know there are lockers there but someone here mentioned that the lockers were not available for use anymore.
I'm heading to Cordoba next week and will have my luggage with me (20" rollaboard). I tried emailing the Cordoba TI but no one has replied. If you have 1st hand info that would be wonderful!!! |

yk,
You could try calling the Renfe (train) station directly-the international number is 934901122 The Córdoba bus station is across the street from the train station, and I suspect they have a left luggage (consigna) facility open there. Spain.info says it costs 3 euros to leave a bag. phone: 957404383 fax: 957404415 |
I used them June 2007. No problem.
|
I used them in May 2006.

I finally received an email reply from the Cordoba Tourism office (I think my first attempt to email them I had accidentally hit "delete" instead of "send" in Spanish.)
This is what the email reply says: ----------------------------- From: [email protected] Sent: Tue 2/12/08 6:43 AM Dear Sir, There are the lockers in the bus station and the train station. If you need something else you can write us. Regards, Susana Moreno Tur Dpto. I think even if the lockers are not available at the train station, I can always try the bus station across the street. I will post back when I return from my trip! |
I´m back from my trip. Despite what the email says from the tourist office, I can confirm that the lockers at the train station are NOT AVAILABLE!
Fortunately, the bus station across the street does have lockers. FYI, the locker room is somewhat "hidden". When you enter the bus station, it´s off to the far right until you almost exit the station. There is a token machine just outside of the room where you have to have exact change to buy a token (€3,20). |
HI yk
Wanted to ask you if you booked your tickets from Madrid to Cordoba and Cordoba to Sevilla separately? |
Hi Lovetotravel-
Yes, you HAVE to buy 2 separate tickets. Each train ticket is good for that specific train only with an assigned seat. You cannot buy one ticket Madrid-Seville and get off in Cordoba. If you did that, you would have to buy a new ticket for Cordoba-Seville. |
Thank you YK
How many hours did you stay in Cordoba and what did you end up doing there? |
Here's link to my trip report (Day 7 is Cordoba):
