I visited it on my very first trip to Paris, over 30 years ago, and it left more of an impression on me than Versailles.

But how long are you staying in Paris ? If less than 6 days, I'd say not.

We went when we were in Paris at the end of June. It was really great. We took the audio guides and spent about 3-4 hours there. The only disappointment was that the chapel Sainte Chappelle was closed for renovations.

Whatever interests you is what you should see. There is no "preferred list" except in the limited imaginations of a certain personality type.

It isn't like it's a big daytrip or something. It's right 'in' Paris (nearly). The chapel is being renovated? Well, the donjon just reopened, right? There's always something being renovated somewhere.

We were there in May, and spent there a morning. It is very interesting, we visited the chappel and the famous donjon. We had a very good guide (in English that gave us many useful info.

As other said, it depends on how many days you have in paris and if it is your first visit there.

Make your list or itinerary of places you want to see, and try organizing by 'location'... odds are you won't see everything you planned.. but if you find the time, then you'll have the information handy.

Hi M,

With only 4 days, you have time to see 8 "must sees" if you want to spend some time actually visiting Paris.

Is Vincennes one of those 8?
