anybody been to the Dolomites?

I will be in Venice for 3 days the second week of January and I am thinking of heading to the Dolomites for another 2-3 days. IS it worth it? Is there much to do there for a non skier? I have been to Zermatt and Interlaken so does it have the same feel to it?

To me, the Dolomites do indeed have a different feel from that of the Alps around the Berner Oberland. The Dolomites have a different kind of beauty, more stark and more in contrast with the surrounding valleys, IMO.
