Ani,
No, I didn't stay in Kent. I actually stayed in Reading for that trip. From Reading it was a 45 minute train ride into Paddington for London visits. I had a rental car and drove everywhere but London. One full day was spent in the Kent countryside. It is appox 45 minutes from Dover to Canterbury. In that one day, I did Chartwell, Hever Castle, Leeds Castle, Dover Castle and Canterbury Cathedral, spending at least an hour at each, and still made it back to Reading (which is west of London) at dusk.

mr_go, I smiled the minute I went through your Scotland pictures! I've never met anyone who's also been to some of those places, and we have some of the exact same pictures (through the "window" at Duntulm Castle)- Fairy Glen, Inverary, Kilmartin Valley (same pictures of cemetary and standing stones), Oban Harbor, Portree, --thanks for making my day!

Thanks for your kind words. Ms. Go took about half of those shots, and did all the legwork in setting up our Webshots pages.

Thanks to you as well. As you can guess, we had to edit out hundreds of very good shots of all those places just to get it down to a manageable few.

Ms. Go scanned in some shots from our previous France trips, and posted them just yesterday on our Webshots account. Here they are...
