Any VENICE WALKING TOUR RECOMMENDATIONS?

Does anyone have experience with a good English speaking Walking VENICE Tour Guide. Up to 3 hours.....
My husband and I have been to Venice 2x before.
We are interested in learning more especially about Venice history. We do not want a skip the line tour to the usual attractions though.
Thanks so much for any help!!

You can't do better than Luisella Romeo - perfect English, delightful and very flexible about what you want to do/see/learn. We took two tours with her - the first a more traditional Doge's Palace/St Marks/etc. The second was a few days later. My husband (the Engineer) decided he needed to understand "how Venice works". From the mundane to the incredibly technical. 5 handwritten pages of questions. Luisella was fantastic - rolled with it (and enjoyed it). She still has his handwritten pages of questions!

Guided walks are great - too ferret out a Venice most never see. But also just walking aimlessly has led me to so so many quiet untouristed corners - get a Michelin guide or basic map as it's easy to get lost! I especially like the eastern tip of the main island - beyond the old naval yards to a park-like atmosphere with isolated benches on the sea for a perfect picnic setting.

Torcello is a neat island- the farthest large one out and least touristed - kind of a ghost town IME except legions of feral cats lurking about (as they do all over Venice with folks feeding them.)

Thank you so much. I did see her on line and it's good to have your recommendation. I will definitely contact her!
Thank you!
