Any thoughts on these hotels in Bruges & Brussels?
Narrowed down to:
Bruges-Hotel de Orangerie or the sister hotel Tuilerieen. Brussels-Amigo, le dixseptieme, or the Stanhope. Would love some Fodor feedback. |
They are both among the top hotels in bruges. We stayed at the Tuilerieen and were very pleased. It has a pool.
|
Brussels - the Amigo - located just behind the City Hall which faces the Grande Place. Very European, very good service, very good food.

Le Dixseptieme is small and idiosyncratic. Each room is named after a Belgian painter and each is different. I loved it, but I do recall having to duck under the ancient wood beam between the sitting room and the bedroom, not always easy to remember in the middle of the night. I finally hung a towel on it to remind me.
