Any suggestions on Maderia?

Would love to hear about Maderia, the sights, restaurants, hotels, and guesthouses in the main city, Funchal. Any ideas and suggestions? We are trying to decide between visiting Portugal or spain. Thanks! Kate

Don't you love it when people wax poetic about a place and don't even know how to spell it?

Kate
I've posted various information about hotels, restaurants and sights previously on this board.
You should be able to locate them by searching on either Funchal or Madeira.
Hope some of them may help.
Kavey
