any site that reviews hotels?

Before travelling anywhere I always like to find reviews about the hotel I will be going to. Any other sites other than fodors that reviews hotel?

I'm going to ask a question further along these lines. Kelda posted a UK site (which believe me, I'm going to use). When I do my searches for French hotel reviews, I come up with many. Sometimes it takes me a few days, for example, to come up with good comparative reviews of hotels in Lyon, but I can do it. When I try that for other countries, it's amazingly blank. I remember being able to find London reviews, so I'm surprised that level of scrutiny isn't available for other cities. I would like to find more reviews about Irish and Scottish accommodations, if possible. Other than Kelda's site, what are my choices?

Also, for small hotels/B & B's, the Karen Brown Guides are reliable:

www.karenbrown.com
