Any Romantic Restaurants in Bellagio?

My hubby and I are meeting in Milan and staying in Bellagio. I was hoping for a very romantic dining experience. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I can't help with a romantic restaurant but can recommend Bilacus, which I learn about from this board. You'll find good food, attentive staff, large portions, and reasonable prices. Closed Mondays.

I would avoid the restaurant across the stairs from Bilacus since the food wasn't particularly good.

Hope you find your romantic place and have a great reunion with hubby.

Bilacus certainly is a good choice; I think the tables on the terrace are more romantic than those indoors (unless it's cold and rainy, of course!). I also really liked the garden outdoor restaurant at the Hotel Florence. Right on the lake, excellent food and service (thought the food was even better than at Bilacus). You need to reserve a table for the garden restaurant...just stop at the hotel's reception desk.
Barchetta is another restaurant that normally gets high marks, but they have a new chef and menu, so can't say what it's like now.

The Hotel Florence closes it's restaurant at the beginning of October. That's what I was told last year by the concierge when I tried to have dinner there.

If the weather is good, the garden area of Bilacus would be fine for your romantic dinner. The indoor part would not!

Just had a disaster of a meal at Barchetta. The new management was pushy, the food went from mediocre to abysmal, and the prices were exorbitant. I would advise against eating there under the new ownership.

Bilacus was good, Silvio was fabulous. Neither was particulary romantic, though.
