If you type "Jack the Ripper" into the SEARCH field, you will find many comments, including a couple of threads dedicated solely to the same exact thing you're asking.

Recently took the jack the ripper tour in london with London Walks be careful there is more than one JTR walk. We emailed ahead and went on a night that Donald was doing the walk. We totally enjoyed ourselves, it is definitely worth doing. Donald will sign his book for you afterwards.

We went on Donald Rumsfeld's walk in 2000. It was very fast-paced, but completely worth it. If you go, try your hardest to stay up next to Donald. He's fast, but he tells a great story. Enjoy.

I'm sure you meant to say 'Donald Rumbelow' not 'Donald Rumsfeld'-I'd think he'd be too busy to take you on a Ripper walk. ; )
I did the Donald walk in January when I assumed fewer people would be there, but then you know what they say about assuming...There were so many people they split us into two groups of about 70 people each! So, yes, it's hard to hear if you don't rush to keep up at times, but I would still recommend it because it took you into areas of London at night that I wouldn't normally feel comfortable in-or at least I didn't at the time. Since that trip I've been back and didn't feel uncomfortable in the area. We went to the 10 bells pub then on to Dennis Seevers House, then to another pub nearby and felt quite safe.

Whoops! I've had a hard week already! Yes, I meant Rumbelow. Oh, well...if we can't laugh at ourselves...!!!!
