Any recommendations for free wine tasting in Paris?
 

I'm traveling next week with my girlfriends and we'll be staying in the 6th. Does anyone know of stores or other places for free wine tasting?

La Derniere Goutte in the sixth is a wine shop that used to offer tastings. I believe they were on Fridays. If you google, their website might have the information.

We have tasted wines there several times and always bought wine there. It might be awkward to go in and taste and not purchase anything

The Nicolas stores, which are everywhere, often have free wines for tasting.

I'm glad I saw this thread. I'm no wine expert, so being able to go in and taste will help me make a good selection. Thanks!

Just Googled La Dernière and their website has a link for Dégustations but it has no dates past December 2010. Hope this does not mean they are no longer having them.
