Any recommendations for a hotel in Paris for 3 people near the Eifel Tower?
 

We will be in Paris for 6 days and would like a hotel room for 3 people. Any recommendations near the Eifel Tower? Or....has anyone rented an apartement for a week that was very satisfied with the accomodations? Thank you.

What's your budget? Hotel style preference--modern, traditional, full-service? Do you want to eat in restaurants every day or would you like to eat at "home"? Is your stay in Paris starting on a Saturday or Sunday or will it start mid-week (makes a difference in some apartment bookings, hotels generally don't care when you arrive).

Three adults, 1 adult 2 kids, 2 adults, one kid?

Although the 7th is the usual answer given when people ask for accommodation requests near the ET, don't forget the 16th. You can get great views of the Tower from the Trocadero/Passy section. And from parts of the 8th and 15th as well.

Also, don't forget "aparthotels" like Citadines, they're not particularly charming but can handle 3 people easily.

The Hotel Muguet has at least one room for 3 people. And its not a roll away crammed in, the bed is in really a large hallway area - sounds funky but it is roomy enough - then the double bed is in a separate area.

I am in that neighborhood right now. We are in an apartment and I would suggest that, unless you cannot speak a word of French and would prefer to have the help of a concierge. We rented through vrbo, it is the two bedroom apartment on rue de Grenelle.

Having stayed in the two of the three hotels on your list, I would pick the Bourdonnais over du Cadran. I like du Cadran, but their rooms are small (and the beds are FIRM), three people would be a tight squeeze.

At the Bourdonnais, the rooms are larger, many come with decent-sized closets, and overall, it would be more relaxing there. But you must get a confirmation in writing that you'll be getting an ET view room or (at the very least) a street view room. The interior rooms in the back can be dark and stuffy. The street is a handsome tree-lined avenue and not very noisy (by big city standards, it's pretty quiet).
