Any problems with debit PIN with leading zero in Italy?

Jump to last reply

One last question on debit cards....I read somewhere on this forum that PIN numbers with leading zeros can cause problems in Italy. When I asked my bank, they said not to worry, that it used to be a problem but isn't anymore.
Has anyone used a debit PIN with leading zero in Italy recently? Am not sure I want to take the bank guy's statement at face value and find I have a problem in Italy.
I like my current PIN and don't want to change it unless necessary!
Thanks.
