Nice thread. How about some pub or shopping info? Best street markets and when to go I think would be a great question to ask.
Just my humble opinion.

Just before the clock strikes on the hour, go to Piccadilly St. and stand across the street from Fortnum and Mason. Look up at the clock on the store front. It is a delightful little moment of entertainment!

Hi, I returned from London a month ago and had a wonderful time. Of course you need to see the things you have listed and if you still have time I would suggest the "Jack the Ripper" walk. The tour is through "London Walks" and leaves from just outside the Tower Hill tube station (next to the Tower of London). You can get more information from their website. Make sure you pick a night when Donald Rumbelow is conducting the tour. He is outstanding. Another thing I enjoyed was visiting a few of the street markets. Portobello Road was my favorite. Nearest tube station is Notting Hill Gate. Tons of stuff to see and buy and a great opportunity to experience the "local flavor" of London.
Hope you have a wonderful time.

Have tea (or a snack or a meal) at Richoux. Go to Charbonnel et Walker for chocolates. Walk in the parks, or do a self-guided walk from the Eyewitness Guide or another travel guide. See the Sherlock Holmes Museum.
