Any info on Knightsbridge Hotel?

I read about the Knightsbridge Hotel in an upscale Home Furnishings Magazine in the U.S. My husband and I are planning a quick trip to London at the end of November and planning to stay there. Anyone know anything at all about it? Thanks.

We spent several nights at this hotel in February of 1999. I understand that the property has since undergone significant renovation which I cant comment on. However, the location is superb. Beaufort Gardens is a surprisingly quiet little street steps away from the hustle and bustle of the Brompton Rd. You'll be just a couple of blocks walk from Harrods and very handy to tube/bus/sightseeing/dining, etc. We loved the charming little hotel which was, before the renovation, excellent value for the location, amenities and service.

I just stayed at the Claverly Hotel on Beauford Gardens and, although you asked about the Knightsbridge hotel, I would like to highly recommend this small, charming hotel. The Claverly and the Prinsenhof in Bruges are my favorite hotels in Europe!

Hillary,

We spent 4 days at the Knightsbridge Hotel in early September. The hotel is lovely and on a quiet dead-end street. We had an enjoyable stay and loved our room. The staff was very nice, but somewhat forgetful (I think many are just new). We would stay there again as it was centrally located. I left comments on the Rants/Raves section.
