I heard somewhere - and now have lost the info , that there is some type of festival in the town of Cortona - below Arezzo - any info greatly appreciated -- also if you know of any other festivals in Tuscany or Umbria at that time late Oct - through Nov<BR>Thanks Mazuk

Look at the website hostetler.net for<BR>festival info. I hope I have spelled<BR>that correctly. You might be referring<BR>to the Festival of the Grape and the<BR>Celebration of the Chestnut in Cortona<BR>Oct. 18. If you like antique shopping,<BR>there is a wonderful outdoor market the<BR>first weekend of each month in nearby<BR>Arezzo. The entire city center is filled with legitimate antiques and other good stuff.

Thanks for the info - I got some info on a Chestnut festival in Cortona the 2nd Sunday of Nov. - the 10th <BR>Anyone know anything about this or how I can get in touch with the local "chamber" if such a thing on the web ?? Also are there big goings on for All Saints Day in the towns<BR>thanks <BR>Mazuk
