I know it's late...Topic posted in May and my response in October, but anyway, the Tauck Week in Spain tour is GREAT. (see my other posts) Good guides, good sites, amazing hotels, and it's a nice group for someone to go alone. There are enough other people there to socialize with. I talked to the bus driver from when I took that tour and he said that since the Sept. 11 attacks numbers have been down. Still - It was among the BEST weeks of my life - I HIGHLY suggest it. Even my mom, who never imagined she'd enjoy Spain, fell in love!

I guess that the implication (on another thread) is that I made this original post so that I could post a reply to it about how it would make a great idea for a Fodorites' trip!

How utterly ridiculous.

This might be the oldest thread on which I mentioned the possibility of a Fodorites trip to Spain.

These three were pretty easy to find. Just clicked on spain and seareched Fodorites. Of course, I got more than just these three - - but they were easy to recognize and pick out.
I'd highly recommend Classic Journeys. I took their trip to Morocco and it was great. Very small group, quality hotels, walking and great cultural experience. I also see a company advertised in the New Yorker all the time called Cobblestone Tours that specializes in Spain.
