any guess when iDTGV opens next block
 

We are needing tickets for 17 December. We would like to book iDTGV seats, but regular 90 days out may come first.

I tried to find old threads which indicated when the winter seats have gone up for sale on iDTGV but don't seem to see any; also searched on google.

Anyone want to venture an [educated] guess??

This year when I was booking regular TGV I couldn't get Paris to Reims 90 days out....it showed up about 65 days out. Perhaps there are computer issues this year. I could book regional slow trains at 90 days but not the TGV.

To answer your question, no guess but wanted to let you know this hasn't been a "normal" year with the two bookings I've made.

Hope you get an answer. Otherwise, only option is try daily.

The school holidays don't begin until December 20th, so it will be low season until the 19th. You don't really need to be worried about finding a ticket for a good fare.

iDTGV schedules and ticket purchases can be available up to 5 months in advance. The 3 month availability period is for PREM fares.

As of today, iDTGV tickets are available for travel up to 13 December.

I know that the last block go up to 13 December and that they opened 11 June - just trying to figure out the next opening date for the next block of seats.

iDTGV reservations for winter will be open September 16 for travel December 14 - March 29.
