Any good prices for tickets for fall
 

Has anyone seen any good prices on tickets for late Sept. or Oct. travel? Also will the weather be fairly warm and dry?

Well, I'm sure it will be warm and dry in the Sahara.

I assume you are flying to Europe since you are on the Europe site. I've been looking at Sept. and Oct. fares for myself and have found the best fare that I've seen to be at www.1800flyeurope.com. Click Specials & Packages, click Packages & Air Specials, scroll down to Air Specials, click Fantastic Fall Airfares. They are for departures Sept.8-Oct. 31st.
Check them out.

June, this board is for Europe as a whole... it's not divided into separate countries. That's why you were confused. :)
Try going to travelocity.com and using their email service. They will email you ticket price updates when fares to your chosen destination drop.

I second the recommendation for 1800flyeurope.com. I got a great fare from them for Paris in October. One tip - they don't list the airlines on the website, but if you call them, they will be happy to tell you what airline the flights you are interested in are on.

I don't think it is entirely accurate to say that there are no "separate boards" for Ireland or any other country here. If you click on Ireland, in the country box, you do indeed get "the Ireland board". It's just that the vast majority of visitors here never do this; they look at the entirety of the Europe forum, which is the union of the "separate boards", which exist only in a "virtual", database-subset sense of the word.

On the one hand, I see that you are not a newcomer to Fodors, though are to the Europe forum. On the other hand, it bears repeating - - maybe for you - - and certainly for other newbies. Fodors DOES give you this advice under "help" - - http://www.fodors.com/forums/faqs.cfm#Q6 - -

I continue to fault Fodors for not taking even a modicum of care to see that new registrants are asked to review the FAQs, especially one of the most important of all to newbies, the <i>un</i>documented tip to click on your own name to find all your previous posts (or likewise, for anyone else for that matter).

As for your original question, be sure to seek info on the cheap Flights forum of www.eurotrip.com also. The moderator Don is the wizard of bargain airfares without equal, IMO.

November is better. I am going to the U.S. hopefully before Christmas and the Aer Lingus Flights seem to be lower than Continental for round trip. Check out www.aerlingus.com.

No, you don't. There are no separate &quot;boards&quot; or forums. There is only one--Europe. When you click on Ireland, you are merely using the search tool to list a subset of posts. It's no different than sticking &quot;london&quot; into the search box and clicking and getting posts with that word in them--there is no &quot;london&quot; board, either.

I just got roundtrip including taxes from Baltimore to Dublin for October for $303 total on Aerlingus.com

If there are people who come here and routinely click on one and only country, and only follow those posts for which that country (that they're interested in) was &quot;checked&quot; when first posted - - then for those people who use this forum that way, the &quot;Ireland board&quot; really does &quot;exist&quot;.

When I first started using this board, I would click on the &quot;United Kingdom&quot; board and wouldn't look at the general board at all. So, these &quot;boards&quot; do exist.

june515 if you can wait until Nov 1 or later the prices will drop as a lot of times the airlines extend their summer prices until Oct 31. I still remember my great $315 taxes included L.A. to Dublin last year on Aer Lingus. (Jan)
