Any good deals on airfare to Europe?
Hi, I am devastated by the airfare prices from the West Coast of the US to Europe this year. In January, I found round-trip tickets for $1100 to Paris and $1010 to Berlin, but didn't jump on the chance. Of course, now those fares are gone. Are there any other good deals now? I remember seeing a post about an amazingly cheap deal on Iberia Airlines, which didn't include taxes in its prices. Does anyone have a similar lead?

If you want to keep up with the latest deals, you need to hang out on the Flyertalk mileage run thread.

Opps. I linked the wrong thread for MIA, but it appears that fare is gone now.

I only pay attention to DL fares so might be other airlines with deals on the mileage run threads.

We're out of Portland and have decided to give up Paris for this year. We can get to Madrid for just under $1000 and I think that's where we're going to head. I'm excited at the chance to get back to Malaga but a little sad at missing Paris (though I've often said I didn't want/need to go back to Paris). Anywhere in France is expensive.
You can look at skyscanner.com and see if easyjet, ryanair, et. al. can get you there for an acceptable price but it didn't work for us and our dates.
We'll have to give up a couple of really good apartment reservations, too. That's a bummer.
