Any fodorites going to Venice May 23-27th?
Greetings fellow fodorites!
My Mom Dorothy and I will be taking a Mediterranean cruise from Barcelona to Venice (our China trip was postponed). We are extending our stay in Venice for 5 nights!
I was wondering if anyone will be in Venice those days for a fodorite get together. Please email me if interested. I�ve had the pleasure of meeting other fodorites since 1999 on my travels!

We'll be there on the 23rd, our last of four nights in Venice. Monica, so is Gary. How about meeting for some pre dinner something? Maybe as Gary suggested on the Rialto Bridge. How about 6 PM at the crest of the bridge. This is a crowded spot but maybe we could carry small signs "FODORITES". What think you??

Peggyann, that works for me..The 23rd at 6:00 is perfect.I am easy to spot also. If that time is ok with everyone else I will suggest others to join us from the travel boards.It is a lot of fun meeting new friends and sharing travel experiences.

Dog-Mother, Sorry we will miss you, we leave Venice on the 24th to return home to NY. But Monica, Dorothy Gary and friends, love to meet as we discussed. 6pm on the crest of the Rialto Bridge on the 23rd. Will be found chanting "Fodorites, Fodorites" Does that sound at all Italian???

At my first fodorite gathering (May 1999), we all met at Cafe du Magots in Paris. I had a red rose on the table. It was so fun meeting people as this was the first fodorite get together ever!

Monica.. I e-mailed you a picture of Myself and also one of Mike.They were taken in Greece last October. Thanks for your help...
Bootman.. Most of us will be on the tailend of our trips and I am sure fashion will not be a issue.No offense to anyone but we will all probally be starved for good conversation and the joy of sharing our travel memories..

OK all, i am ignorant of the photo on the internet thingee, but I'll be there, you'll know me by the foolish "I love Venice" grin on my face and the presence of a tall grey haired guy by my side, John, mio marito. I'll be carrying a hand made sign, FODORITE here.
