Any dog accessories stores Paris?

Will I be able to buy dog collars, etc. in any of the stores as gifts?

Yes, I went to Gucci and bought a great looking dog collar and had it gift wrapped in their paper with Gucci ribbon. Not that the dog cared, but I saved the ribbon.

In Paris, I would go to Chanel or Vuitton. For the ribbon, of course.

Most of the top leather goods designers do have items for dogs (carriers, leashes, collars). But for something in the more normal range, La Samaritaine has a pet department. Most dog grooming salons (toilettage de chiens)--you can find them in every arrondissement--also sell collars, leashes, etc. For example, in the 16th, there is a grooming salon at the corner of Ave. Mozart and rue La Fontaine that sells items for a well-heeled four-legged clientele. The rue Cler used to have a good little pet shop, but it has been closed for about 18 months.<BR>BTilke (Brussels)

Forgot to add, if you are buying collars for specific dogs, write down their collar measurements in centimeters, not inches, before you leave.

Saw a pet supply store on Rue Cler. Didn't look specifically for dog items.

Pup especially likes the small elegant collar and leash that his mama got him at Hermes.
