Any direct trains between Paris and Auvers Sur Oise on weekends in June?

Any direct trains between Paris and Auvers Sur Oise on weekends in June?
A week or two ago there were numerous direct trains listed between Paris Gare du Nord and Auvers Sur Oise on the SNCF website. I went to verify the times and now they have all disappeared. In fact, Auvers Sur Oise is not even listed as an option on the SCNF website under reservations.
Any thoughts? Specifically, we'd be going on Sunday, June 26th from Paris.

You cannot reserve those RER trains. There are occasional direct trains that take 43 minutes but many more links with one change - check www.bahn.de/en- the German Railways site that when I checked that day had lots of trains but very few direct ones.

It's so strange. There were loads of direct trains on the SNCF website a few weeks ago and now they are gone. And, the town of Auvers has disappeared from their website as well.
C'est la vie. It will be arrival day in France so if we feel up to it we will head to Gare du Nord and board the next train. Thanks for the link to the Bahn website, I forgot about that.

Maybe they've removed the RER trains from the main site?
Anyway you can be sure, barring a train strike which makes it not sure, that there will be plenty of trains to Auvers-sur-Oise on any day - less on weekends because it's a commuter train.
There is another way to go to Auvers than from Gare du Nord (which takes you thru the infamous banlieus (suburbs) of north Paris - you can also take the RER to Pontoise and take the train from there the few miles to Auvers - along the Oise River - walking paths too.
I stopped at Conflans-Sainte Honorine on the way back- go via Pontoise and Cergy - an amazing place which a barge central in the Paris area- at theconfluence of two major rivers - the Seine and the Oise and you'll see literally hundreds of barges lining both rivers here - the local church is devoted to bargists I think.

I loved Auvers even more than Giverny - a nice village strung out along the Oise River-check out the Chateau - not the old chateau you may think of but one with a audio-visual show on the Impressionist heyday in Auvers:

That isn't a grand train line, I'm surprised it ever showed on SNCF. It's line H which I thought was considered part of the RER system, not sure. But it's on the ratp.fr site, not the SNCF site.
I thought there were only direct trains on Sat and Sunday, but don't know. They are doing work on that train line I believe (line H) between Pontoise and Auvers or something, that's what Transilien.fr says but only till end of May.

On one of my train trip to Auvers the only change was at a station just a few miles from Auvers - so rather than wait for the new train I walked on footpaths along the Oise River to Auvers - a sweet walk.

Yes, you do not use SNCF for this journey. Use ratp.fr or transilien.com. Auvers-sur-Oise is within the Île-de-France region (within zone 5) and SNCF doesn't cover journeys within Île-de-France. The direct trains on weekends depart from Gare du Nord. I mention this because for non-direct trains you can leave from Gare du Nord, Gare Saint-Lazare or even take RER C (to Pontoise) and all these other non-direct journeys require a transfer (obviously, as they are non-direct).

Also, as Christina noted the transfer on RER C may be at St-Ouen-l'Aumone. If you're taking a non-direct train you need to check all three options (RER C, Gare du Nord, Gare Saint-Lazare) as which option is best will depend on where you are coming from and how the train departures will match up.

Thanks for all the info and yes, we'll monitor the strike situation. Does anyone have an opinion on the best way to get there given that we'll be staying in the 1st Arrondisment (Hotel Tamise near the Tuileries). We were just going to take the Metro to Gare du Nord take the regional train from there but perhaps there's a better option?
I should mention, our time is limited for this excursion. In all the times we've been to Paris we've never been to Auvers and I love Van Gogh. (Yes, we're going to see the new exhibit in Arles.) We actually arrive in Paris on Sunday, June 26th around 8am but, we're only there for 2 nights before we head to Provence. I figure we'll get to the hotel around 10a and assuming we feel okay and if it's a nice day we'll go to Auvers and return in the early evening. Sad, everything is closed on Monday.

If you were planning on departing from Gare du Nord then just do that. No need to make it complicated. I believe the direct train departs at 9:38 from Gare du Nord so you may not make that but the trains with a transfer only take about 20 minutes longer. You can check to see what time the direct return train departs from Auvers.

No - the Hotel where van Gogh died is and so is the Chateau (which some diss as kitsch) but the main attraction here is the many van Gogh large copies of his paintings that have been hung up right where he painted them (and Cezanne and others too)- these are all around town - like in front of the local church and in the cornfields abutting town - where the maestro did his last paintings depicting a dark sky and crows circling which some believe related to his mental state as he shot himself just days later- he should not have died in that bed in that cell-like room at the Auberge Ravoux (name?) many say but was not given timely and adequate medical attention.
But yes the chateau and hotel are neat but if you must go to Auvers on Monday all is not lost - not nearly.

I don't think the château is kitschy at all. I think it's a fascinating explanation of the world of the Impressionistes. It has everything from a replica of the first train cars that took them out of Paris to a place where the light was completely different (imagine how exciting it must have been to be able to leave the city on something other than a horse and be transported by rail to a whole new world?) to a room that explains in detail the culture of absinthe. And lots in between. It's one of my favorite museums in France.

I agree with you StCirq but was saying what others have said- I guess they were expecting a real old chateau with the usual interior - to me this is much better - yes imagine riding in those new-fangled train cars easily out of Paris to bucolic areas.
And I guess the chateau is a key part of the Auvers experience - StCirq reminded me of how neat it was.
