Any day trips from Hamburg to Berlin
 

Does anyone know of conducted sightseeing tours of Berlin that leave from hamburg? Typically 1 day long. Let me know the details of the company organizing such tours. Thanks in advance.

Why not simply take a train from Hamburg to berlin and join a city tour there? This way you don´t waste half a day in a bus on a loong boring highway, at least.

I agree with that suggestion - but I am organizing this for someone else who is completely new to this part of the world and so am skeptical about sending her in anything except a conducted tour :-)

You apparently "know" her better than we do but I would agree with Altamiro. Taking the train would be faster.

You are in a better position to decide this, but bear in mind that a train from Hamburg to Berlin takes 1 1/2 hours and a bus ride rather close to 3 1/2 h one way.

I also suggest arranging for a tour in Berlin and having your friend take the train from Hamburg.

The tour operators in Berlin can give her instructions on how to find them from the train station.
