Any comments on Hotel Bernardi Semenzato-Venice?

I was hoping someone has stayed at this hotel, or has at least hear of it! Help! I am trying to decide whether to "book it" or keep looking. Thanks for the help and any suggestions for Venice hotels.THanks

Hi there,

I have read about this hotel in several books and am also considering this place for our trip in May. When are you going?

If I learn more about this hotel, I'll email you and vice versa please!

Thanks,

Monica

PS Which other hotels are you considering in Venice? Where else are you going?

Whwn you return from your wonderful trip, let me know about hotels in Vience. I need to find a place for 1 or 2 nights in Oct. Also any input on Rome or Milan if you were thate would be helpful. Did you travel by train to these destinations? If so how was it? Hope you had an enjoyable time.

I've only been to Venice once -- so far -- but we were very happy with the place we stayed, the Albergo Paganelli. It was very Venician, in a great location just about a Venice block off Piazza San Marco and was quiet in March. A double room was about $90 US as I remember. I would expect October might be a bit more. Have a great time, wish it was me!

My advice to you all is to go somewhere else. I spent 3 miserable nights at this place.

Try:
Al Gambero
Calle dei Fabbri, San Marco
Ph: 041/5224384
Fax: 041/5200431

I've stayed here and enjoyed it, and it has been getting some good reviews from others as well.
