Any advice on HSDPA DONGLE for use in The Netherlands

I am due to arrive in Holland in just over a week and found where i am going to stay for the next 7 months has no internet. That "Pay as you Go" dongles do not exist....its contract only...apparently.
Been reading about a HSDPA dongles...that works through the 3G network....
Can anyone please advise me what path to take?? As internet access is so very important for me and I have little time to sort this now.

Pay as you go dongles do exist.
You can buy one from Albert Heijn supermarkets for instance. It will cost you 529.95 to buy the dongle and SIM. You can order them online, once you are in the Netherlands, or probably you can buy them at a larger Albert Heijn supermarket at the service desk. http://tinyurl.com/68t8yyv (Dutch only I'm afraid)

I am sure the major telecom providers such as Vodafone and t-mobile offer similar deal - you would need to find a telecoms shop or search online.

For 7 months you may be better off with a contract anyway. Just cancel it when you leave.

Alternatively, if you are in an apartment then make friends with a neighbour - they maybe prepared to share their network with you for a small contribution, especially if they have cable internet.

Meanwhile there are plenty of wifi hotspots around that you can use for free.

That should read €29.95 for the dongle and SIM not 529.95, sorry!
