Don't know if they have a room available, but try Jardins des Luxembourg hotel in the Latin Quarter. You can find their fax number (fax them for availability) on the fodors hotel index. It's highly recommended and we are staying there in a few weeks. Good luck!

I stayed at the Jardin du Luxembourg in April and definitely recommend it; charming, with an excellent location. I'd be surprised if they have space in June, though, as they only have 27 rooms. Fax from US 011-33-1-40-46-02-28. They respond very promptly. They're also on www.travelinparis.com and www.pariserve.com, and I can vouch for the accuracy of the photos; one isof the room we stayed in.

I recently used hotelboulevard.com to book a room in Paris - without any problems. You can specify area, price range, and dates and the site will search for available hotels. The booking service is free. Customer comments are posted for each hotel, so you can get a sense of what to expect. Good luck.

PS: Paris is a big city - you will find a room!

Hi! I am going to Paris for the 4th time (but not since 1984) with my almost teenage daughter (12.5). We just made reservations through Best Western at Regents Garden which is near the Arc d'TR. I stayed there yrs ago, a beautiful garden in the courtyard, reasonable rates & 3 tower rating from Michelin . I am figuring I'll spend a bit more on taxis & less on the room. I like a quiet night sleep. Also, check with llibertel--most of their hotels are highly rated & many are in the 5, 6th.
I think you can get a double at hotel de notre dame if you bot mind sharing a french double. We wouldve stayed there but I wanted 2 twins. PS check out Paris Walking Tours--we are going on a few; look appealing & highly recommended by many. The Time-out website has some good stuff too! Feel free to email me if you have more ?s; let me know how your hotel search turns out!

Jennie,
We have stayed at the Hotel Deux Continents twice. It is a 3* hotel in an excellent location on Rue Jacob just around the corner from St. Germain des Pres church. Rooms vary, but good. You won't go wrong staying there.
Good luck.

I highly recommend the Buci Latin. Great location, breakfast is included. The rooms are small, as are most in Paris. Very pleasant staff and a great location. It is also one of Fodor's recommended hotels.

Have fun!

I'm going to be at that very same hotel from June 12-15! My friend who travels everywhere swears by it. I'll have my 16 year old son with me.....perhaps we'll see each other!
