Antone here ever rented a scooter in salzburg or know a site I can get information about one?
 

I have looked for rentals in Salzburg but I can't find one! We will only be there for two days and nights with a half a day going to Ubersalzburg ( the eagles nest) but I think it would be a kick to rent a little scooter for another half a day to cruise around on? Any throughts or advice. Paris and Munich are too busy to even think of renting one there.

Much of the center of Salzburg is a pedestrian zone - so you couldn't use a scooter there. Also- scooters are not so popular in Germany and Austria since they really don;t have the power necessary to deal with often steep mountain roads. You will see mostly larger motorcycles rather than scooters.

And - I believe to rent one - you will need an appropriate license. Do you have one? Are you experienced in handling a large bike in the mountains?

I don't have a motorcycle license that's why I throught about just a small scooter. Thanks for the info.
