Another Warsaw,Krakow,Prague question

How available are laundromats in these cities.

Our hotels are RadisonSAS in Warsaw & Krakow and Don Giovanni in Prague.

( 10 years ago in Prague it would have been cheaper to buy new underwear than have it washed by the hotel :-s)

Thanks :-B

I have no personal experiance with any of the laundry services or laundrymats since always managed some how with friends ... but found those links for you:
http://www.beletblanc.pl/index.php?a=4
Warsaw:
http://katalog.onet.pl/628,katreg.html?oidpow=33518
Krakow:
http://katalog.onet.pl/628,katreg.html?oidpow=11958

But I think best be to ask at Hotel for yellow pages or just where nearest laundrymat is.

Anything be cheaper then hotel service.

Suggestion: email concierge at hotel and request information. Better still: Check cab stand or starter, ask driver for nearest 'prainia'. Show him you laundry. Request return..'wracac pozniej'

There are two laundromats near the Namesti Miru Metro stop in Prague. I think one is called Laundry Land. Anyway, the Prague Post lists them in the classified section. They have quick large capacity machines, and you can be in & out in an hour.

Have you left yet for Poland, Czech Rep. etc? Sounds to me like a Grand Circle tour from the hotels mentioned.
Let us know how you enjoyed Central Europe, what most impressed you.

You're right!

We have traveled with GCT many times and like them
Ten years ago we made the trip with GoAhead travel.

We will post after we get back

Hi Ed,
We just returned from the same GCT trip. Didn't look for laundromats because we did hand laundry every night. I think all those hotels had a line to do your washables. My husband took a line he got at a travel store, just in case, and a small bottle of Woolite. It rinses out easily.

Have a great time. Look for the trip report I just started.
