Another hotel similar to Le Madison?
 

We had finally decided on staying at Le Madison. After reading all your helpful replies and recommendations, we decided on Le Madison. That hotel looked so nice, the location was good and you got a great breakfast included. When we looked on Expedia last week, the rooms were going for $220/night. Now they are a hundred dollars a night more! That's getting up there.
Can anyone recommend a similar nice hotel in that area please? Grateful for any advice:-)

It's hard to believe a double at Le Madison, including breakfast, was only $220 USD last week - could that have been the price in Euros? That would be remarkably, and unbelievably, cheap if the price was in USD.

The nearby Hotel Bonaparte is clearly some levels down in terms of decor and breakfast, but it does share approximately the same St. Germain location, and at 131 Euros for a double with breakfast, it would work out to just under your price range.

I agree with WT. For your budget, the Bonaparte would be very good.

61 Rue Bonaparte in the 6th. From 131E dbl w/bkfst. It is located near 3 metro stops and 4 bus routes. Has AC and an elevator.

It's on a relatively quiet square, 5 minutes from Le Madison. Ask for a room on a high floor facing the street. Good luck at this late date. Happy Travels!
