kathryn,

Thanks! I hope I'm not too late to warn you against Tony's. Don't bother. It's possible the bill is 5 euros less than some other trattorie, but it really doesn't make sense to waste a meal on this. Bollito misto (or bolliti carne) heading to other tables smelled good, but I still wouldn't bother. There are much better places in that nabe, or just take a flyer on Bissanot or La Mariposa (primi at La Mariposa, especially torteloni con burro e salvia, is infinitely better).

Tedgale,

I don't know your level of interest in art and architecture, but Bologna is woefully and incredibly underrated as a destination for the best of both. It is also a wonderful shopping destination.

Off to Rimini.

Zeppole,
Thanks---I think I'll try Da Silvio, Al Sangiovese, Osteria Romagnola, Grassilli or Trebbi next.

Kathy...

We went to Grassilli one night and really enjoyed our meal there. Room can be a bit dark, but the food was good...the trevisiano risotto special the night we were there was out of this world good!

Some of those are on my radar too so I'll be interested to hear back.
