Angels and Demons tour
Has anyone done a guided tour of the places mentioned in Dan Brown's Angels and Demons? If so, can you please provide information, as I plan to be in Italy this summer. Thanks!

Hello, vylvi, by going to Google and typing in Angels and Demons into their search box you will see a lot of websites. This is the first one that came up when I searched on Google for you.

We did the Angels and Demons tour a couple of months ago (www.angelsanddemons.it). There is one company that offers this tour. It is the same that LoveItaly noted above.
If anyone asks if I would recommend this tour the answer is yes and no.
If you are very familiar with the book then I would not recommend it. If you only saw the movie or read the book some time ago, then it is a good tour. It does take you to the sites but the guides re-tell the entire story. I found this rather annoying. The commentary is a contant re-cap of the book, on and on. It would have been much better to hear about the actual things we were seeing. Our tour went 1.5 hours over the scheduled time length.
You can just as easily see all the places that the tour travels to on your own.
The other thing that I did not like about the tour was that as we walked around there were people in our group smoking. I had specifically asked the guide at the beginning if there was smoking on the tour and he said no (as he put out his cigarette!). The problem was being in the group you couldn't get away from it.
The tour indicates that you are in a small group. We were in two groups of 18 and shared a big bus. The bus crawled through traffic. The tour does make a "coffee stop" at a great little store by the Pantheon. They had small samples of different meats and cheeses. The store also sold several kinds of olive oils, etc. It was a nice place.
It's not a bad tour, it just wasn't as good as I had hoped.

Actually, there is another company that offers an unofficial Angels and Demons tour -- it's called 3 Millennia. The company is run by a young American, Tony, who has been living in Rome about 10 years. He posts on the Slow Travel message board a lot.
I've not done this tour, but I've done others with 3 Millennia and have been happy with them. Here's the link.

As a matter of fact there´s another Angels & Demons Tour. Their hit is their VIP Tour on a golfcart -a friend in rome told me. Must be funny. When I see some pics on the site I think their experience drive, some kind of team contest, must be cool too.
this is the link I found:
