Andalusia- Help with trip, please!
 

We are travelling Easter Week for 10 days. So far have booked the following:
Arriving in Seville
April 4-7 - Seville - Casa Imperial. Train to Cordoba.
April 7-8 - Cordoba - Hospes Palacio del Bailio. Renting a car and driving to Granada.
April 8-10 - Granada - Alhambra Palace. Drive to Malaga.
April - 10-13 - Parador Gibralfaro
(would leave out of Malaga airport.
Now having second thoughts. Would like to add Ubeda and Ronda. Could skip Malaga, but where to start and where to finish without doing a lot of driving? I would also have to change some of the reservations.Have also been told not to stay at Alhambra Palace.
Have not made any air yet. Flying in and out of JFK.

Is there any way you could end the trip in Seville? The processions and pagentry during Easter week (more the closer you get to Easter Sunday) in Seville are amazing and worth the effort. Or do you want to avoid the crowds at that time?

Could end in Seville. Would start in Ubeda, then?
Was also thinking of keeping the trip as is, but just ending in Granada, going to Ubeda after Cordoba. Could take a day trip from Seville to Ronda.

You'll see the amazing Easter Processions in Cordoba and Granada, as well as Seville. Certainl something we don't see here.

Ubeda and nearby Baeza are really fantastic because of the many Renaissance buildings. I really enjoy it, we took
walking tours in both cities. Really worth it. Only thing they are in Spanish. THey have like a combo ticket including both cities. (Very inexpensive)
We stayed at the Parador in Ubeda but I must agree that there are nice little hotels in both cities. Buena suerte.
I find it refreshing to include two jewels out of the most frequent tourist path.
I agree though that Cordoba, Sevilla and Granada each in its own right are must destinations .
