Any suggestions for locating a driver/guide OR a driver plus a guide in each of the 3 cities (Granada, Seville, Cordoba)? We are 4-5 friends looking to travel together - but without having a guide who remains with us. THanks. Fran

May I ask why you think you need a guide?
|
These are all easily walkable cities. The center areas are actually pretty small. Unless you are handicapped, all you need is a guide book and map. You certainly do not need a driver. If you really must go someplace within the city in a car, just take a taxi or local bus - cheap and easy.

Having a driver/guide would be on the expensive side, around €800/day, but they can be arranged it that's what you want. You can also arrange for a private transfer between each of your destinations, or take the train or bus for a lot less.
For private transfers in and around Sevilla, you can check out Rosabus.com. Beatriz has done excellent work for us. Hiring a guide at each of your destinations would work out to be the less expensive option to the driver/guide. You can check with the locat tourist offices to see who they recommend or contact one of the professional guides at each of your destinations. Antonio Doblas in Sevilla come highly recommended, but you'll have to check to see if he's available. DiscoverSevilla.com is another option for the area. |
The guests are well-traveled and reading 2 paragraphs from a guide book isn't going to be enough. I need someone who can answer questions about history, art, etc.
