We want to see as much as we can, plus exploring via motorcycle is relaxing to us!

But you will not see much that is the point of my post.
Packing and unpacking, booking in and out, finding parking places every single day will really eat into your hours. Believe me I have met 1000s of folks like you who do this and they just do not have time to see anything.
Weather, longer hours of darkness. will not be on your side either.

Appreciate the feedback, ribeirasacra! We travel like this often and all over the world from Europe to Asia to New Zeland and all over the US. We've had rides with temps in the 120's to the low 30's, rain/sleet/dust storms/you name it. Many say we shouldn't and we love it and have amazing memories to go with every adventure. We travel via backpack so packing/unpacking is very simple and our enjoyment comes from the ride and experience. It's worked out wonderfully so far! We appreciate all the advice and insights!
