I can't help myself. I like Amy Winehouse.

Is that wrong?

For some reason I like her too - but talk about a train wreck of a personal life! :-!

Apres_Londee Dec 21st, 2009 07:38 PM

Blaaaaaaake! (she's back with him, I think I read- bad news!)

Ever since I saw her on Nevermind the Buzzcocks I've had a soft spot for her- I expected her to have a really horrible, nasty personality but she was very sweet and down-to-earth and kept defending the underdogs against Simon Amstel. He was merciless towards her, a couple of time I though she was going to cry but she kept her humour and her socks up.

I'm rooting for her to get herself together. It's really sad to see someone slowly kill themself the way she appears to be doing.

I too miss Panto's but you have to take children with you so you don't look like losers, unless you go to the 'adult' version ;)

Aprees, I love Never Mind the Buzzcocks, two years ago I was in England while my DH was home in the US, I called him and he was gloating over the 80+ weather (it was raining in Yorkshire), being at a grill with friends, beer in hand etc.... All I had to say was "well, I'm watching NMTB and he insisted that I held the phone so that he could listen :)

Milton Keynes is one of the places chosen to host games if England get the World Cup in 2018

There are theatres where some of the audience might have thought it part of the show...

Growing up, I thought Milton Keynes was the name pf an obscure economics professor. I still can't get used to seeing it on a timetable instead of a textbook.

defending the underdogs against Simon Amstel.>>>

She's been a friend of Amsell's since childhood. All the jews in London know each other (this is pretty much true).

My bint's cousin knows Amy's Dad for instance.

ThinGorjus Jan 29th, 2010 12:55 PM

Oh, just tie her to the Harlesden Clock, cover her with jerk chicken seasoning, and leave her to the natives.

Or sommink like that.
