I just asked for help re getting from
Naples a.p. to Sorrento. I'm also desperate for train help! I just went on Trenitalia website and am floundering! We will use trains from
Naples to Florence, and then from Florence to Rome (there's a reason for this backwards itinerary!). And the little local train in Sorrento. Is there some sort of discount for any kind of "pass"? I am truly grateful for help on the website. I thought I could decipher a bit of italian, but am lost. Oh, if only my Nonna were still around!

trenitalia.com has a place to click on for english. Its a great site but nothing I can say will make it so it doesn't take lots of time to figure out. Sorry, and I'm italian.

In my opinion passes are not what they used to be. There are so many great discounts that point to point is fine. Don't give up on trying to work out the train site.
