Does anyone know why, for me, most of the ones with letters don't work?

capo Jul 14th, 2003 07:18 AM

You know €ver Paris when you see the Eiffel Tower.

BozoTheClown Jul 14th, 2003 06:45 PM

Jed, it looks like originally the ones with letters in parens used to work... But, now, it requires them in double parens.

So, before, it used to be (s) but, now it's ((s))... I think they did that on purpose, because people do things like:
"95 degrees (f)", or "I think what I'm looking for is in France (?)"

Which was getting rendered as:
"95 degrees ((f))", or "I think what I'm looking for is in France ((?))".

BozoTheClown Jul 14th, 2003 06:48 PM

D-oh. I should be more clear... Don't use (N) ... use ( ( N ) ) for ((N)) (without the spaces, obviously...)
