I'm sorry but i think you are crazy. Never would I fly for 11 hrs from west coast to spend 2 days in a $500/nite room. Also taking any time to nap in my $500 hotel room which takes away from my less than 48 hours to see Amsterdam! Fly another 11 hrs to get home just so you could write your first trip report! You brag that you both had just a carryon! You didn't have to change clothes FGS. You had a much shorter flight from the midwest, so not as crazy. I am impressed! But that's just me!
