Amsterdam Resturants

Anyone any experience with d'Vijff Vlieghen Resturant. They advertise 4 course meals with wine ant 60 e so dont want to make a mistake. How about Cafe Bern?//

Also would like some informationabout the weather we can expect during May we will be Switzerland Holland and Flanders from 6 may till 30 May

The Restaurant is OK. Nothing especially memorable in terms of cuisine however the place is very atmospheric and there are a few real Rembrandt etchings hanging on the walls so it is a popular if tourısty choice.
Perhaps you would enjoy De Kas which is in a similar price range. It is located in a stylishly converted greenhouse.
Check out www.specialbite.nl and www.iens.nl which are both good culinary sites with English links.
As for Cafe Bern...I think it is known for a good fondue and if you are looking for that İ might hold off until Switzerland.
