Washing clothes in rural Scotland?
Hope this isn't a silly question, but are there public washaterias in Braemar? We'll be there next weekend about midpoint of our trip, and would like to be able to wash clothes.

Aah, that brings back a memory of an apartment we stayed at in Glasgow. It had a laundry drying rack, which was stored up close to the ceiling. When it was time to dry clothes, you pulled on a rope to lower the rack, distributed the wet laundry on it, then pulled it up for the clothes to dry overhead. Worked quite well.
It was a bit of when in Rome.... I gather these racks are quite common in Scotland, drying outside being impractical most of the year.
