Amsterdam hotel €39 per night!
 

In today's Volkskrant there was an article about this hotel in Amsterdam:

If you book early enough it is just €39 per night.
Ok it is not the height of luxury nor in a lovely situation but it does offer a really good bed for the night, only a short tram ride from the centre.
They will also soon be in Maastricht and Antwerp I see.

Have you seen them? Because I don't get it. Are the pods all in one big open space? Like a hotle and in a row? The pictures didn't help

No I haven't seen them, but the article in the newspaper made it clear that you have your own room. It is just that it has this pod in there instead of the usual hotel furniture.
The beds they use are made by Hästens, and I can tell you that they are really comfortable, (and expensive) beds.

They look nice enough. Does anybody else find that the version of the pod outlined in red is a bit reminiscent of similarly lit small rooms in the area?
