Amsterdam help, please :)

Does anyone know if e-tickets for the Rijksmuseum can be purchased anywhere right now...or after the grand-reopening? Also, according to the museum website, my 18 year old daughter's admission will be free. Will she be able to accompany me in the "fast-lane" entrance (assuming I will have a pre-purchased ticket), or will she have to validate her age via the long ticket line?

I have scoured the internet for the answers to these questions, to no avail! Thanks in advance!

From the Rijksmueum's website:

https://www.rijksmuseum.nl/en/genera...urs-and-prices

"•From 1 January 2013, e-tickets and online (group) bookings are no longer possible. Tickets are only available at the museum."

Buy a Museum Card when you get to Amsterdam so you can get into most of the museums for free. You can get it at any participating museum. Choose one of the smaller, less popular ones to buy it so you don't queue for the biggies.

For the Anne Frankhuis you still need to book a time to avoid the queue as the card doesn't allow you to skip that there.
Most other museums do allow card holders to skip the queue.

If you don't buy the museum card your daughter queues with you, proves her age (picture ID will be needed at her age) and gets issued a free ticket. As Rastaguy says you can no longer buy e-tickets for the Rijks.
