Amsterdam, Delft Restaurants

We are senior citizens. Though experienced travelers we are making our first visit to Amsterdam next week.

We are looking for good dinner restaurant recommendations from personal experience not websites. We do not like Asian food. Budget for 2: 120+ euros. We will travel to various cities in the Netherlands but recommendations for Amsterdam and Delft would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Anthony

Just ate at this place last week, and it was one of the best meals of my trip. I may even schedule an overnight in Amsterdam every trip just to eat here, it's that good:

Haesje Claes, Spuistraat 275

About a 5 minute walk southwest of Dam Square. If you are interested in checking out their website, here it is:

Last May in Amsterdam, I ate at Bordewijk (Noordermarkt 7, tel: 624 38 99).

One can order a la carte or 3,4, or 5-course dinner. I went for the 5-course and it was € 52 (one person).
