Looking for hotel recommendations to stay in Amsterdam April 19-23 near the city center or any location you feel is easy to get around from budget is $300US/night. Thanks

Try the Hotel Fita. It is not a luxury hotel but clean and well run. It is very close to many museums.

Has anyone stayed at the INK hotel?

There is B&B type hotel that I have stayed at multiple times over the years. It is on the edge of Vondel Park in a nice quiet residential street. They have accommodations from single to triple. Breakfast can be included or not. It is a block from Tram line 2 that goes through Leidseplein to Centraal Station. It is now called The Neighbour's Magnolia (was Zandbergen, new owners) I will be staying there in May.

I don't know the hotel that hpeabody recommends, but that's a very nice area.

Anybody stay at hotel Estherea? Like to stay in comfort but not too. $300 night max budget not looking for a place with loud nightlife we can find that. Any travel guides you recommend. Checked out the websit iamsterdam

Last time we were in Amsterdam we rented an apartment, but the two times before that we stayed at the Bridge Hotel and found it commodious and affordable.

Amsterdam has loads of good hotels (booking.com) no need to stick to this board's favorites of Ambassade, Estherea and Le Coin or Bridge. There are more interesting choices.
