Ams/DE/Aus June Airfare Help
 

I've been planning a trip to Amsterdam/Germany/Austria for late July for awhile. I just found out that the summer school where my boyfriend works has switched their schedule this year, so now I'm looking at late June (14th-30th) instead.

I've been searching the past few days for open jaw from Chicago to Amsterdam and back from Munich/Vienna (or vice-versa) and can't find anything less than $1,150 each. I just found round trip tickets for $896 for Chicago-Munich. For $400 less (total), we could do more of a figure-8 than a straight line as the added train fare won't be more than $150 total.

Does anyone think I can find airfare for less than $896 for this time? I'm tempted to book it and be done with it. I'm trying to keep this trip as budget-friendly as possible. Thanks!

I guess I will go ahead and book then. I needed some outside encouragement as the $880/890 range is still a little outside of my comfort zone, but $1,000+ is waaaaay outside.
