I was wondering the same thing about Florence. I'm sure most reading this post will be sickened that we'd want to take time out of our travels to watch baseball, but if you are a die hard baseball fan and your team makes it to the World Series, you can't miss that last game! What a memory...watching your team win the World Series while you were in Italy.

I'm not leaving the USA until the Cardinals either win it or lose it.

I would post again with the words "sports" and "Venice" in the headline of your post.

Hi,

I did a google for a English bar Venice - got the following:
Devius Forest Pub
San Marco, 5185
Venice 30124 Italy
+39 41 520 0623
Open Hours
9a-11p M-Su
Overview
For those who prefer an international cuisine, this English pub situated in the San Marco district, offers a good alternative to the Venetian taverns.

You could try ringing them - see if they have sports?? Mind you it might be Englis only??

the time difference makes it virtually impossible to watch night games in their entirety in Continental Europe.

your best bet for this question would be to google for an expats community in Venice. And if their is a discussion forum ask the question their.

If anyone finds a US Expats group in Venice, please post the link here! So I can join them!

I've seen expatsinitaly.com and not much else.

Why not ask your hotel in Venice? I'm sure it won't have been the first time the question has been posed.

There is an American Air Force base about 60 miles north of Venice. You might try to get on base and watch the games.

I cannot help with the question, but fully understand the sentiment. I have been sad enough to find myself in Venice, trying to pick up football commentary on a shortwave radio. The best part about jetlag in Australia was finding myself wide awake to watch the UK soccer games.
