AMERICAN BUSINESSS CLASS TO EUROPE????

Has anyone flown american airlines business class to europe?? How is the service, food, comfort. How does american rate against it's competitors in the business class market. Any experiences with this product would be welcome. thanks!!

I was fortunate enough to fly on American Airlines to London in Business class and enjoyed it very much (usually I fly coach). I can't compare it to other airlines, but the seats were leather and large, plenty of room to your feet out in front of you, and the food was as good as any airplane food can be. Also, you could either watch a movie on the big screen or choose from a variety of videos to watch in your seat on a little portable TV/VCR.

United's Business Class to Europe, particularly on the new 777 is a fine experience. We traveled to Paris from Chicago late last year and enjoyed the service with great seats and decent food. Much better than coach.

I've made many trans-atlantic flights on all the major carriers. American is one of the best, although as long as you're in business class....they're all quite nice. Sure beats coach!
