Good News! AR9 is almost here! Begins 2/28 with a 2-hr premiere. Back to the original 2-person format. This will have 11 teams, and some areas visited will be the Middle East, Moscow and Silicy.

This season's "older couple" lives near me. She, at 61, has climbed all 54 of Colorado's 14ers. He's no slouch either. Should be contenders.

They held auditions for AR9 in my city, and my brother-in-law tried sooooooo hard to get me to do it with him that I definitely need to see where they ended up going.

Auditions for AR 10 were held in Cleveland in January - filming set to begin in June. At least we're guaranteed another season of this great show.

Also, TV guide gives a brief rundown of the upcoming AR 9 - looks like the teams will be racing thru Greece and Oman.

I wasn't overly thrilled by AR 8. I didn't care for the idea of the 4 member teams and some of those kids were so precocious. I missed not seeing Europe.

Darn! That means they won't broadcast that one until the fall.

I can tell you the formula - The Black Yuppies and the Gay couple will be among the final three. The cocky guys will probably last until the final five teams. First team out will be the Staten Island "Beauties". It's the same formula season after season. "The Mole" was much better.

We have Comcast Cable and they have a free "on-demand" program where you can play different shows at the press of a button. They have a preview of AR9 and the two young girls' sound bite was "we're young and cute and we like boys <giggle, giggle>. Maybe they were wanting a little on screen romance this season.

AR9 is going to Greece! Oh man, now I wish I HAD auditioned!! We would have nailed that leg.

I don't know, DejaVu, several times we have seen teams fall on their face when they go someplace they know well.
