amalfi or maiori
 

I am travelling to the amalfi coast in may and I am having trouble deciding whether to stay in maiori or amalfi.
Can anyone give me any ideas as to which they preferred?

I'd choose Amalfi. It has much better connections by boat/bus or taxi to other places along the coast. And many more accommodations/restaurants to choose from.

Agree with WWK - if you stay in Maiori, your sole mode of transportation will be the SITA bus, which often can be totally full.

I prefer Amalfi.

I would suggest you to go with Amalfi. Like WWK said, it has plenty of options to choose from. Great accommodations , good food and better accessibility.
